28 Weeks

I'm 28 Weeks!!! I can't believe these are the only "belly" pictures I've taken with this pregnancy. Sorry baby boy - we've been kind of busy. I'm still drinking at LEAST one gallon of water each day to try to keep the fluid levels up - and it's working so far!! We're still working on the name thing too - we have a couple we're thinking about, so we'll see (sorry, they're a secret). I just hope we can narrow it down before he's a week old like Brenna was! Everything else is going great - well except for when I have to bend over, roll over in bed or put my socks on! Oh and by the way, Brenna has discovered my belly and is always wanting me to lift up my shirt so she can pound on it - then she gives it a hug - it's pretty cute.

She has discovered shoes - but only the ones that are to big or for the baby boy. These Teva's were a Christmas present from Tyson - they are still HUGE but she insists on wearing them - even over her pajamas. Silly kid.

Bib clip

I am ALWAYS forgetting to bring bibs with me to restaurants and I HATE it when Brenna's clothes get dirty from food when it could have been prevented. I was reading through the One Step Ahead magazine the other day and saw this cool bib clip that can turn any napkin or paper towel into a bib (think dentist clip) BUT it's $12!! So I got the idea in my head that I could make my own - for like $1.50 - I think it turned out really cute:) Now I just hope she'll keep it on!

Don't worry - I made one for baby boy too:)

Homemade Laundry Detergent!!

I've been wanting to make this for quite a while and finally did it!


All you need is:

1 bar Felsnaptha soap - grated finely
1 cup Borax
1 cup Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda. This stuff is HARD to find!! I finally found it at our Syracuse Ace Hardware.

Mix together and store in an air tight container. All you need to use is 1 to 2 tablespoons per load depending on the size and how dirty your clothes are. It comes out to be about 3 cents a load!!!!

Hardware Ranch

Last Saturday we got bored so we decided to go to Hardware Ranch to see the elk. Brenna is still OBSESSED with deer so we thought she would love it. She LOVED the visitor's center and kept saying "deah, deah!!

We had to wait in line for quite a while for the wagon ride - she kind of got bored with the wait.

Of course she wanted to get down and walk to get some snow - two seconds after she got down she was COVERED in mud. Oh well.

We kind of felt sorry for everyone else on our wagon - she did NOT like it when we would stop so the guide could talk - lets just say she NEEDED a good nap!!!

New Loves

Candy and anything with sugar in it!! I'm always hiding our candy stash and she somehow always seems to know where it is and begs for it and says "taney!!".

Snow!!!

Baby dolls - she is always making us wrap up her babies in blankets or most often the kitchen towel. Then she'll walk around with them on her shoulder and pat their backs:)

BOOKS! She loves her books, but for some reason, she is obsessed with "our" books. She wouldn't let Tyson read his one night so he took hers.

Good news!

We went to the perinatologist at Davis Hospital today because I had low amniotic fluid again. About two weeks ago, the level was down to a 5 (cm), but Dr. Fillerup couldn't find any reason why it was low again, so she suggested we go to a specialist for a second opinion. I started drinking water like crazy again just like I did when I was pregnant with Brenna. I've been getting about a gallon and a half every day, sometimes two (that's just to much). Well, today we found out that it was up to a 16.3! I NEVER got that high with Brenna. It's defiantly a boy and he's about 1lb. 11oz. They couldn't find anything wrong with the baby which was SO good to hear. SO we hope things continue to go well with this little guy - he sure is a feisty little fella!!
