Merry Christmas!

This year we had Christmas with Tyson's family - sorry - I didn't take any pictures! I feel so bad! Anyway here are some pictures of our tree and random decorations around our tiny apartment - yeah we need more room - thanks for the stuff though Mom! The other pictures are of us opening presents before we went to Tyson's parents house.

Here's our cute tree we cut down - we have Tons of ornaments! I feel kind of bad now that Christmas is over and we'll have to throw it away soon:(

To quote Home Alone "Bless this highly nutritional microwavable macaroni and cheese dinner and the people who sold it on sale" Ok, so it's not macaroni and cheese or highly nutritional, but this was our Christmas Eve dinner - yeah really healthy. It was a fun night though - we watched a movie and ate junk:)

AHHHHH!!!! Please don't look to closely at this one - I look terrible!!! I got good stuff though!

Another ride with the baby

If you need to get a hold of Tyson on a Saturday - good luck - he's somewhere up in the mountains:)

Danielson Christmas @ Heidi's

We were able to get together at my sister Heidi's house for an early Christmas since we were all going to be in different states on Christmas Day. My sister Theresa and her family spent Christmas in Prescott Valley, AZ. Jesse and Serena went to North Dakota to be with our parents and me and Tyson, Heidi and Josh were all with the in-laws here in Utah. It was fun to hang out with the fam and watch the kids with their presents:)

Wow!

I think she liked it!

Lydia getting ready for the kill...

"Don't worry Tyson, it's just girl stuff!" I think she used up a whole thing of lip gloss that night!!

Kenton's hocky game

My nephew Kenton had a hocky game in Bountiful a few weeks ago and I was able to go see him play. My sister Serena and Heidi & her fam also came to watch. It was one of the cutest things I have ever seen!!! Good job Kenton (he's #22)!

Sawdust:)

These pictures of Tyson are so funny - you can't really see it, but his hair and gotee are covered in sawdust! These were taken at Tyson's Dad's family Christmas party - we made wooden blocks, quilts, hats and care packages for our church to send to needy children - it was so fun!

Grandma Got Run Over by a Snow Blower:)

Just a reminder of the past - for any of my family who remembers the Christmas of Grandma's "accident"! This is just a little song us cousins put together and sang for Grandma about 10+ years ago. It's sung to the melody of Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer...

Grandma got run over by a snow blower,
Standing in her very own garage.
The man that was driving it didn't see her,
We almost had to scrape her off the wall!

Grandma's response, "It's not funny kids, I was almost hamburger!!!"
We love you Grandma Hazel:)

Quality Time With the New Member of the Family

On Saturday December 8th I had a chance to spend some quality time with the newest member of the family. I took the new sled our for a burn up the Mirror Lake Highway with five other friends. The snow conditions were okay. We did get into about 15-20 inches of powder on the road above Lost Lake. We broke trail from lost Lake over the pass below Bald Mountain to the High Line Trail. The riding was good for trail riding and gave me a chance to get used to the new sled. There were three in our group getting used to new sleds on this trip. We also took the chance to break-in the new rings and pistons on my friend Dan's sleds. All sleds ran well and I believe are as excited for the real riding to begin as we are as riders. As for the new sled, the power is nice and it floats and handles pretty well. It will take some getting used to. I'm looking forward to getting into the steep and deep. We were not able to get off the trail due to low snow conditions. The depth of the snow is still really scary. There is about 30 inches total at Trial Lake, we normally have about 4-5 feet this time of year. We are in bad need of more snow.
This is a picture of a couple of the guys that who I was riding with. Trevor is next to his new machine on the left, Dan's sled in the middle, and Moe on his new ride on the right. When we have enough snow to get off the trail I promise better more exciting pictures. These pictures are taken just below Bald Mountain looking back up toward Bald Mountain.
For those who have never been snowmobiling, it is a great way to see the beauty of the back country during a season that many neglect to venture into. It is breathtaking how beautiful everything is and how the scenery changes with snow. Pictures will never do it justice, but I plan to try and share a couple of the best picts from each ride throughout the season.

Good old friends and the lights on Temple Square

These are my old roommates - Amber and Lisa - they were in town for Thanksgiving and we were able to meet at Temple Square in Salt Lake to see the Christmas lights - it had been forever since I had seen them, so it was a fun reunion!

Christmas Tree Hunting!

The day after Thanksgiving, Tyson and I went into the mountains to cut down a Christmas tree. Tyson's sister and her family came with us. It was so fun - we think we'll make it a yearly tradition:)Ethan and Alex in front of their Huge tree
Hey - is that thing going to fit through your front door??
This one is the one we got for our apt. It looks kind of tiny compaired to the other one - I think it's cute.

Hi!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We had a fun Thanksgiving at Heidi and Josh's new house. My parents were able to come down to Utah so the whole family was together - except for Stuart, but he said he had a good day in CA. Here are some pictures of our day.

I think Kenton ate two or three cans of olives by himself!! He sure takes after the Danielson side with his love for them - even the green ones!
This is Dad and Lydia - he was so tired that day from the drive down. The kids sure enjoyed being with him though!

Kathryn and Dad - I guess they all had to take a turn watching the movie with Grandpa! Ethan and Dad - Ethan loves to try to get people's cell phones!
Ethan is SO funny!! He was getting kind of crabby because he wouldn't take a nap. I was holding him and trying to find something to amuse him with when I noticed he was pointing at the bowl of ice on the table - so I gave him the smallest piece I could find and he stopped crying and wanted more! It ended up working so well and we ended up giving him a little bowl of crushed ice and he seriously ate it like it was candy!! He cracks me up! I think he actually had two bowls full!

Now we just need some snow!

Well - here they are - the long awaited pictures of Tyson's new "baby". He's patiently waiting for a good snow up in the mountains so he can take it out to play and then we'll post some "real" pictures! Tyson also wanted me to comment on how good his truck looked that day after he spent hours washing and waxing it:)
