I finally made it to the zoo!

camping over the 24th of July

We took the trailer out again over the 24th of July and made it back before the mosquitoes carried us off! It was a fun little trip - so good to get out of the house for a while:)

We did a fun little hike down the trail by our camp site - Brenna LOVED it! We also got done right before it started to RAIN!

10 Months!!!

We have a toothless 20 pounder!!! Brenna is so sweet - she still loves her little baby lambie - it never leaves her side! She is pretty close to crawling, the little stinker would rather roll all over or spin in circles on her bottom:) She's getting so funny - she sure makes us laugh sometimes - here's her new "camera face".


she was so sleepy the other morning - she fell over onto Tyson and was gone - until we couldn't help laughing so hard it woke her up!

When she gets sleepy she'll just fold herself in half and lay on her little lamb

She also THINKS she can feed herself

She loves her little basket of toys and will play for hours - she loves making a mess by dumping everything out.

Her new love is popsicles

This little duck gave the little lamb a run for his money for a few days - don't worry the lamb is still the all time favorite:)

Hammock

When Tyson served his mission in Mexico he slept in this hammock every night. He has hung it in our unfinished basement and sometimes I'll come home and can't find him anywhere - then I realize he's taking a nap in his hammock. Brenna loves it too.

Grandma Danielson's Visit

My mom was here in July to be with my sister when she had Kahlan. We had a great time hanging out with her and also got to celebrate my sister Serena's birthday.

I slaved all day over Serena's cake then locked Brenna, myself and the cake out of the house (on one of the hottest days of the summer) - so the cake kind of melted to the cover of the cake plate - sorry!

Weekend of the 4th

A few weeks ago we bought this


and of course we had to take it out for the holiday weekend. So we packed up and headed up to the Uintas with Tyson's family. Brenna did pretty good - poor thing has an earache though so she didn't nurse very well at all, but she really enjoyed being outside so much. She loved watching all the birds in our camp and even started to make a hissing sound at them - so funny!

My favorite part was not having to be in our tent! Don't get me wrong, I love our tent, but being able to bathe my baby and have a bathroom were WONDERFUL!!!
