Drive - Part II

SO, after getting stuck for HOURS, we were now alone on our drive so we decided to go see the Provo River Falls. Of course the road from here on out was completely dry! Anyway, on our way to the falls, we saw two moose.

The falls were out of control and it was Freezing there! Good thing I was wearing capris huh!

After a LONG but fun day Brenna was ready to drive us home.

Nice leisurely drive with the fam - HAH!! Part I

One of Tyson's favorite fishing areas in the Uintas is Mill Hollow Reservoir. It has been closed for quite a while for repairs, but it's scheduled to open again soon, so we decided to take a drive to see the progress. We invited my sister Heidi and her clan to come with us.

Here are the guys inspecting the progress

Here are the girls - inside the vehicle - it was freezing up there!!

After Mill Hollow, we decided to continue our drive and cut through the mountains to get to the Mirror Lake Highway area. It's a road Tyson had been on thousands of times and he wanted to see how the snow melt was coming. Well, there were still some pretty good drifts, but we kept going to see how far we could make it. Along the way, another vehicle came up behind us and we ended up talking to them 'cuz they didn't know where the road went and they asked if they could tag along. We said sure, but they didn't know what they were getting themselves into! Yeah, Tyson got stuck (shocker! See video below) trying to get through the "last big one". He got through after a couple of tries later (don't worry, he only lost his licence plate and dented the bumper). MEN! Anyway, our "new found friends" wanted to try to drive through it too and needles to say, they got stuck too. Heidi and Josh decided to go home and not get stuck because their Jeep would have been hard to pull out. They were smart. Yeah, about four broken tow straps and three hours later, our "friends never made it through and had to be pulled out the way they came by two teenagers who came by. Hey on the bright side, Tyson found his dad's snow chains he had lost in that same spot years earlier!!!
These pictures are of us waiting for the men as they "played in the snow"
Ethan found all kinds of dead worms in the stream and was "fishing" with them - what a boy!

Memorial Day Weekend

We went camping with Tyson's family for Memorial Day. We went to Chrystal Hot Springs again and had a lot of fun, but after one night in the tent with pouring rain and baby who thought it was funny to wake up twice in the middle of the night - very angry) and after it rained ALL day on Sunday, we went home early and began a more rigorous search to by a camping trailer:)

Because of the rain, I only got two pictures, here's Brenna lounging in a camp chair

and watching her Dad trying to put all of our stuff under the tarp in the truck before it got soaked!

Anyone interested?

Our next door neighbors are selling their house - so are the people right behind us. I REALLY want nice neighbors - I NEED some nice neighbors - anyone interested???????????????????

E I G H T months

I got an email from BabyCenter the other day saying "your baby is 34 weeks old!" Holy cow - I had her when I was 34 weeks along!! So we've had the bug for longer than I was pregnant. It is so amazing how fast she has grown and it's so wonderful to see her getting so big and healthy. She's a little over 16 lbs now and FULL of personality:)

This is Brenna's new face - it's so funny because she does it when she's excited. Most people think she's going to cry - nope, just a funny face.

80's doll

These pajamas were so funny. I put the hat on her and she was like "um, what is this for? I guess this ribbon is cool" She reminded me of a doll I had back in the 80's:)

Thank you Tyson - he got me a Dyson ;)

Mother's Day came early for me this year!

So, I used to have to deal with this - I got it about 8 years ago for $25 at a garage sale. I think it actually made the floors worse!

So after a ton of research online and some sweet deals, my awesome husband got me this :) The Dyson DC 25.

We got it at Target (they have them for 20% off until Saturday so if you want one go go go!!) Thanks to a mix up with some Target employee and an incorrect price tag, we ended up getting it for $200 off of the original price!!!!! I LOVE this vacuum!!! I won't even begin to tell you how much dirt I've already sucked up - holy cow!!

One of these is going in the garbage and it's not the yellow one.
