Tyson's version...

I don't know how many of you heard that my sled, my baby, had a meeting with a tree a couple of weeks back. It wasn't pretty. Just one of those situations where there was no good choice of what to hit. It was either my buddy's sled, a moose in the middle of the road, or a tree. I tell you this to let you know that Alycia and I have talked it over and have decided that the best decision is to get a new baby. The new arrival won't weigh as much, and it won't be a Polaris. It however will probably cost more than my current baby. But the years of enjoyment will be well worth it. Yes, I am excited to announce that by next winter I will be the proud father of a new baby, be it a girl or a boy, Alycia is due November 7th, and I keep my current once crashed, by now fixed sled.

Who has the moose???!!???

Serena has it!!!! This thing has been passed around my Dad's family for the last 20+ years. My aunt's found it in some of my Grandma's stuff when they were getting ready for a garage sale. Anyway, there was a big debate on if this thing should be included in the sale or just thrown away. Needless to say, it didn't make it to either of those two options!! It's the biggest thing to "get the moose" in our family and you'll never know where it will pop up. Anyway, for all of you Danielson's who havn't seen it for a while, I thought I'd let him be part of the blog and let you all know that SERENA has the moose!!

Where the sidewalk ends

Cute shoes huh!! Well, they weren't so cute the other day! So, Tyson and I were walking home from church the other day. We usually walk on the street because they are in the middle of making a sidewalk. Anyway, this Sunday, I noticed that they had "finished" the sidewalk so I said to Tyson, "why don't we walk on the sidewalk? It looks like they have it done - it's better than walking on the street". He said, " I don't think they have it all the way done yet and we would have to cut across the construction at the end of the street". I replied, "that's ok - we can cut across - it's not that bad". Anyway I guess I won and Tyson and I walked on the new sidewalk. Well, I should have listened to Tyson because the sidewalk Wasn't done and we Did have to cut across the construction - No problem, it had just snowed the day before so when the sidewalk ended, we cut across the corner of someone's yard and were almost to the street when - AHHH!! My whole left foot sank into about one and a half feet of some mud that was covered in snow!!
Yeah this next picture is what we saw a few days later when the snow melted. I wish I had had my camera with me so I could have taken a picture of my cute shoe Covered in thick mud, when I had to hop to the bathroom and then of me standing in the bath tub in my dress trying to wash it all off!! I guess it's best to listen to your husband when you are walking in a place where the sidewalk ends!!
