Here are the guys inspecting the progress
Here are the girls - inside the vehicle - it was freezing up there!!
After Mill Hollow, we decided to continue our drive and cut through the mountains to get to the Mirror Lake Highway area. It's a road Tyson had been on thousands of times and he wanted to see how the snow melt was coming. Well, there were still some pretty good drifts, but we kept going to see how far we could make it. Along the way, another vehicle came up behind us and we ended up talking to them 'cuz they didn't know where the road went and they asked if they could tag along. We said sure, but they didn't know what they were getting themselves into! Yeah, Tyson got stuck (shocker! See video below) trying to get through the "last big one". He got through after a couple of tries later (don't worry, he only lost his licence plate and dented the bumper). MEN! Anyway, our "new found friends" wanted to try to drive through it too and needles to say, they got stuck too. Heidi and Josh decided to go home and not get stuck because their Jeep would have been hard to pull out. They were smart. Yeah, about four broken tow straps and three hours later, our "friends never made it through and had to be pulled out the way they came by two teenagers who came by. Hey on the bright side, Tyson found his dad's snow chains he had lost in that same spot years earlier!!!
These pictures are of us waiting for the men as they "played in the snow"
Ethan found all kinds of dead worms in the stream and was "fishing" with them - what a boy!

I got stuck only once. Not bad for a drift that size. The license plate is back on and the bumper is fixed better than it was before. Plus it was fun...well most of it.
