Well, I'm behind on blogging again. I just talked to my Mom on the phone and she said she keeps checking for something new and is sick of seeing pictures of our camera instead of pictures of her grand kids. So I guess I need to get going -Again and since I pretty much do this blog for out of state family - here ya go:).
Here's our tree - cute but I'd have to say not a favorite. We usually cut one down up in the mountains, but this year there was to much snow so we had to settle for one from a lot. We did get a good deal though.
Christmas morning, we just hung around the house in our jammies. I think Easton enjoyed his first Christmas even though he didn't really know what was going on. Brenna was SO fun this year - she really scored because she got everything she wanted and more - plus she thinks all of Easton's toys are hers too.
These cars were some of Easton's all time favorites - he LOVES them and will "drive" them all by himself.

Sadly Brenna will only let him play with like three of these bath toys - all the other ones are closely guarded on her "side" of the tub!

I love her face on this one - we got a HUGE deal on seven princess dolls from Target - she about passed out with joy - and they are all she plays with now!
this is BY FAR the best Christmas picture we've EVER taken - LOVE IT!
On December 6th Easton turned 7 months old - and he was 22POUNDS!!! He's just as sweet as can be, SO SO ticklish, and LOVES his sister. He's turned into quite the "mamma's boy" and only wants me most of the time, pretty flattering but it sure makes it hard sometimes. He started saying "DADDA" on his 7month birthday, he is scooting backwards on his tummy and getting really close to crawling! BUT this kid does NOT know how to sleep at night!!!!! He still gets up at least 2 times - on a good night. I guess I'll forgive him since he's so stinkin' cute and cuddly.
The kids had a blast helping put up the Christmas decorations. Brenna was SO excited to find out that we actually had all the wonderful decorations she had been admiring in all the stores we went to. Seriously, she clapped and exclaimed "WOW" or "PRETTY" every time something new was taken out of the boxes. The look on her face was priceless - it was like, "WHY did I not know we had all this stuff??!!" Their favorite decoration, however is this silly rope light that I've had since before I was married. I've only used it once, but I have a feeling it will get used more often now. They played with it for HOURS!
Brenna is currently IN LOVE with stickers - and Band-Aids. She got these foam stickers for her birthday and she is obsessed with putting them all over her body - and I am constantly finding them all over the house, stuck together in globs in her purse or stuck to my socks. This girl makes me laugh!
A few days after Thanksgiving, I was able to spend some time with my dear friend Leesa and her family. We grew up together, went to school together - we pretty much did everything together! She moved to New Mexico so we don't get to see each other very often anymore, and this trip I was finally able to meet her new little guy Andrew (who must love me already 'cuz he was born on my birthday).
I "love" how my kids refuse to smile on most pictures nowdays.
These two little guy are only about a month apart. I think Easton outweighs you a little Andrew!
I was making dinner one night and the kids were playing together. The next thing I knew, Brenna had abandoned Easton so he tried to entertain himself by blowing raspberries on the kitchen floor - it was hilarious but I missed most of it on this video and of course, he stopped when he noticed I was there. He was COVERED in spit - so cute!
