Homemade Laundry Detergent!!

I've been wanting to make this for quite a while and finally did it!

All you need is:

1 bar Felsnaptha soap - grated finely
1 cup Borax
1 cup Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda. This stuff is HARD to find!! I finally found it at our Syracuse Ace Hardware.

Mix together and store in an air tight container. All you need to use is 1 to 2 tablespoons per load depending on the size and how dirty your clothes are. It comes out to be about 3 cents a load!!!!

You always have the coolest 'homemade' things!!! How good does it work?

Does it work good? That would be a great way to save some money if it works well. Let me know.

How do you grate the soap?

You just use your kitchen grater (use the smallest holes). You might want to sit down to a good tv show for this part or have your little guy help - it takes a while:)
